This Stanley 177176 digital measuring wheel is a bi-directional measurement which means the unit will measure in either direction. It converts units of measurement automatically and stores up to eight measurements in the onboard memory. You can use the manual power off facility, but this unit is fitted with an auto power off system, activated when the wheel has two minutes of suspended use. This saves battery life.
