This Thudichum nasal speculum has strong flexible stainless steel construction with smooth edges. It has balanced sprung blades for ease of use. This two-bladed instrument is inserted into the nostrils. It lets doctors examine the inside of the nose, to visualize the nasal cavity. It is usually held in the non dominant hand leaving the dominant hand free for manipulation.

The instrument is ideally inserted in a closed position. When the middle and ring fingers are held apart the flanges will go apart widening the nasal cavity. In addition, the two blades have narrow necks so you can view the tips clearly.
