Makai ka atta/makki atta corn flour, is freshly prepared by roasting yellow corn in a traditional style .
It is gluten-free and has medium glycemic index of 52 and great source of iron & zinc. It can lead to better gut health. The fibre in corn helps to stay full for longer between meals.
Yellow corns are good source of carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin which are good for eye health as well. Nothing like makki-di-roti with pickles/milk etc.
