NR/SBR Rubber can be compounded to provide very fine abrasion, wear, and tensile qualities. NR/SBR can be readily substituted for natural rubber in many applications with significant cost savings. Resilience is about the same as natural rubber. It is ideal for sealing strips, general construction, mounting pads, and industrial use where abrasion resistance is highly needed. NR/SBR rubber also makes a great snow plow rubber cutting edge. It is moderately oil and ozone resistant, for use as bumpers, pads, sealing and general gasket applications.
