By Dr. Tahir Munir Butt (Author)
Pakistan is a developing country and agriculture is the main support of its economy. About 67.5% of the country living in rural areas is directly or indirectly active in agriculture. It offers more than 48% of the country's workers. This sector not only meets the country's requirements for human food and animal feed, but also provides raw materials for its agro-based industries. Agriculture dominates in foreign trade through the export of raw materials such as rice, cotton and fruit; Half -processed and processed products such as cotton yarn, fabric, carpets and leather products. In order to improve agricultural production through an effective spread of agricultural technology, various expansion approaches have been attempted from time to time, including an approach specializing in raw materials. The present study should examine the functionality of a extension approach specializing in raw materials, followed by sugar mills in Faisalabad.
