The Irwin TM444S5 Blue Chip Chisels have high impact, square section blue plastic handles that have been radiused for a comfortable grip. The bolster fitted blades are manufactured from top quality carbon steel for maximum durability and long life. Their impact-resistant handle will absorb the occasional hammer blow although are designed for use with a mallet.
The blade is hardened up to the last 25mm for long working life and annealed for an edge that is slow to blunt yet easy to sharpen.
Marples M444 Chisels feature ergonomically designed, specially contoured handles which will withstand all professional application providing maximum control and comfortable grip.
