Fallopian ring applicator for tubal ligation. During a tubal ligation, a 2cm to 3cm segment of the fallopian tube is drawn inside a narrow cone-shaped applicator. The silastic ring previously stretched around the applicator, is then released onto the tubal loop. A small silicone band with a solution of 5% barium sulfate to allow identification on radiologic imaging. The falope ring applicator device has two cylinders, one inside the other.
