The MSA 2062 supports both SAS and SATA drives, offering flexibility in storage options. It can accommodate drives with a maximum capacity of up to 14TB, allowing for significant storage capacities. With a maximum raw capacity of up to 336TB, it provides ample storage for data-intensive applications.
To ensure data protection and redundancy, the MSA 2062 supports various RAID levels, including RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6, and RAID 10. It features dual active-active controllers, allowing for high availability and failover capability.
Each controller is equipped with 16GB cache memory, which helps optimize performance and speed up data access. The MSA 2062 also offers expansion options, allowing for up to 3 additional drive enclosures to be added for increased storage capacity.
Management of the MSA 2062 can be done through the HPE MSA 2062 Management Console or the HPE MSA Storage Management Utility. These management tools provide intuitive interfaces for configuration, monitoring, and administration of the storage system.
