The Temperature sensor measures the coolant temperature & sends information to the ECU.
The water temperature sensor enables the control unit to identify engine overheating or an unusual rise in temperature.
Depending on the car manufacturers, it is usually installed next to the thermostat or inside it.
The sensor works by measuring the temperature that's being given off by the thermostat and/or the coolant itself.
As the control system receives the temperature from the CTS, it may trigger the cooling fan to either shut off or turn on.
Tested to OE specifications and standards and performed various life cycle performance testing.
