The radiator hose is a rubber device that removes excess heat from the coolant before returning to your engine to repeat the cycle. There are two types of radiator hoses, upper and lower.
The coolant is sucked out of the radiator by the water pump through this hose and it enters the engine block. The coolant is pushed through the engine block and into the heads by the water pump.
