My work concerns information technologies, or rather, the new world to which they have given birth, and which has developed on the other side of the screens for more than twenty years. For the first time, this new world is analyzed from the inside. The cursor is the vessel that allows us to download ourselves in this new dimension. It is no longer an image that we project on a screen, but an individual that we project behind the screen. His body does not disappear from the surface of the earth, but his life is no longer there. The whole being detaches, meaning, consciousness, action, will, then rocks in the light and moving forms. A great whole, a coherent environment: we have created a new world, a new place of a new kind, which offers a wide range of possibilities, fun, social, or professional. This parallel reality obeys physical laws that we have to state, as we have done on earth with the law of gravitation or the mechanics of fluids. My work paints the portrait of the half-man, half-WinD (Humanoct) individual, and his conditions of existence, during his crossings aboard his cursor.
