Claw hammers are specific in that they are composed of two distinct parts: a head or face, whose primary purpose is to drive nails home, and a bifurcated, usually curved claw face, to pull nails out. While these hammers all feature a round head for driving nails, the claw end is every bit as useful for prying, splitting wood, tearing drywall and other small demolition tasks.
