AC Distribution Board is an important part of solar power plant and system (OFF Grid or Grid Tie). AC Distribution Board gives extra protection to the system in case of failures on load side. AC Distribution Board is made up of breaker, isolators, voltage and current monitoring etc.
In grid tie projects where your solar plant is connected to the grid as well under the process of net metering - the AC Distribution Board also gives added protection to the solar inverter in the form of restricting any surges coming from the grid that may damage the inverter. AC Distribution Board is best suited for three phase solar plants of upto 10kW.
