Copper panchpatra spoon is a copper vessel used for worship in homes and temples. It was called pancha patara patharam, which means a vessel to hold 5 leaves (tulasi, arugu, vembu, vilvam & vanni) in water for worship. This water is then distributed to the people as prasad.
