Kim Barnes grew up on the Isle of Wight reading books and drawing whenever had the chance; she always carried around a sketchbook as a child. When it came to choosing degree it was an easy decision and she moved to Lincoln to study Illustration. During her degree, she began focusing on children's illustration and never looked back. Kim Barnes love reliving my childhood through the stories I create and work with. After graduatation in 2014, she decided to stay in Lincoln and she now work from home studio surrounded by books and her two cats. Kim Barnes can normally be found with a pencil in one hand and a cup of tea in the other. When she not illustrating, she loves to bake and do some gardening.
