Drop forged steel handles and jaws. The heads are available in a range of cutting types. For cutting concrete reinforcing rod, reinforcing wire, high tensile steel rod and bar, case hardened chain, cold drawn alloy steel and tempered steel wire.
Every pound of force applied to the handles is amplified to produce 80lbs of force between the jaws. Jaws are drop-forged from a special steel and machined to precise specifications.
This produces a resilient body and rigid cutting edge. Ideal for use on materials such as non ferrous rods and bars, mild steel bolts etc.
