EDTA Na2 is used in cleaners, detergents, fertilizers, fixer solutions for the development of colour film, water cleaners, and pH modifiers. It is also used in redox reactions for the polymerization of butyl benzene rubber, it is used as part of an activator for the control of polymerization speed.
