Study work from 2016 in the Department of BwL - Business Ethics, Business Ethics, Note: 1.0, Language: German, Abstract: The present case study describes a conflict situation in relation to the values ??of a housing company. When analyzing the situation, questions arise that are answered with the help of speculation in order to develop an exact situation analysis and problem solving options in the further course. The company ethics or the meso level of business ethics play a central role in this conflict. The ethical ideas of society do not correspond to the behavior of the housing company. It is therefore a social assessment conflict. This represents the central problem in the case study and logically contains recommendations for action for the future handling of the conflict topic "socially compatible handling of compulsory evacuations and hardship cases". The three prerequisites for a conflict are available: interdependence, target divergence and lack of attractive alternatives. The following problem hypothesis can be derived from this: There is a conflict of values ??between the housing company and the company about dealing with tenants in the evacuation process, which must be solved.
