Diamond Roller Chain
Roller chains are beveled to allow the chain to be stronger. By orienting the link plates, the bearing area of the pitch hole is maximized. The bevel allows automated chain assembly equipment to properly orient the link plates. Larger size chains are manually assembled and have visual indicators other than the bevel to allow proper orientation. Blades are undergoing a highly controlled heat treatment process to achieve desired hardness & metallurgical properties. Its flexibility allows the blade to bend & flex without breakage.
