The romeo & juliet collection from delta is inspired by the city of verona, the setting of william shakespeare’s famous play. The love story of romeo & juliet is believed to have been written between 1591 and 1597 and the two main characters from the play have become the world’s most famous lovers. The black italian resin was chosen to evoke the red ammonite limestone facades that can be seen in verona, and of course, the rhodium plated accents contrast perfectly with the hand turned resin. It is also available in a matching capped ball and a perfectly proportioned twist action ballpoint. All pieces are individually numbered, and feature a pair of rhodium metal heart charms inside the cap that have the familiar delta logo cast in a coin set atop the pen. The romeo and juliet collection from delta consists of three different versions of the pen; scarlet red, jet black and purple passion. Each version is available in three different modes, fountain pen, rollerball pen and ballpoint pen.
