Location decisions significantly determine the future framework of a company. These location factors are characterized as "location and situation-specific properties, conditions or influencing variables that act on the target system of the company and thus influence their success". Various factors in the choice of location are also considered when choosing the location for production facilities, distribution centers, depots, transshipment points and camps. These determination factors for logistical regions are compiled as an example for the Leipzig Hall area. The aim is to use a comparison of this area with other logistics regions, central determination factors for logistics regions in general.
