ABB S202M-C40 Miniature Circuit Breaker is a 2-pole circuit breaker that is designed to protect electrical circuits from damage caused by overloads or short circuits. It has a rated current of 40 amps and is suitable for use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The circuit breaker is equipped with two different tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanic tripping mechanism for short circuit protection. The S202M-C40 has a breaking capacity of up to 10 kA at 230/400 V AC and complies with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 609 47-2 standards. It can be fitted with a bottom-mounted auxiliary contact to save space. The S200M range of circuit breakers is available in different characteristics (B,C,D,K,Z) and configurations (1-pole, 1-pole+neutral, 2-pole, 3-pole, 3-pole+neutral, 4-pole) and has a rated current range of up to 63 amps.
