The zinc paint uses spherical (round) metal pigments in high concentration and purity, thus providing efficient cathodic corrosion protection. If the surface is damaged, the zinc molecules react with the moisture in the air and form zinc oxide molecules that protect the material from corrosion. This fulfils the requirements of din en iso 1461.
Clean and degrease material surfaces. The coating should be applied at the latest one hour after pre-treatment. Keep temperature differences between the surface and the air as low as possible to avoid condensation. Bring the containers to room temperature and stir up the sediment well. Apply the protective paint evenly with a brush, roller or spray gun. Stir regularly during application to ensure that the active substance remains homogeneous. High application temperatures up to max. +30°C and low humidity favour an even spreading pattern and an optimal surface structure.
Keep away from sources of ignition - do not smoke. Take measures against electrostatic charge. Keep tightly closed in original packaging. Do not store together with flammable substances. Keep container in a cool, well-ventilated place. Protect from overheating.
