Depending on the thickness of the material being drilled, drill a number of holes in glass and tiles. The chuck mounting device is used to adapt standardised chuck mounts to different machine spindle tapers. Arbors can also be used to adapt mounts to other rotating devices like machine spindles and lathes. They can also be held in an ER collet chuck and in a variety of other ways. They are made of hardened steel and alloy steel components for long life because they must withstand multiple hole saws. Arbors are attached to the hole saw via a thread in the hole saw's cap.
