A street elbow is a type of plumbing or piping fitting intended to join a piece of pipe and another fitting at an angle. An elbow is a pipe fitting installed between two lengths of pipe or tubing to allow a change of direction, usually a 90° or 45° angle, though 22.5° elbows are also made. The ends may be machined for butt welding, threaded or socketed, etc. It is used to terminate high quality voltage underground cable to switchgear, rmu and 250, 400 & 630 amps junctions equipped with dead-break bushing.
